Roasted Honey Brussel Sprouts

I always love ordering Brussel sprouts out at restaurants but I don’t really make them at home that often. One day I was craving it, so I decided it was about time made this not-so-newly-cool appetizer for myself.

Ingredients
- 1 lb brussel sprouts, halved
 - 1/4 cup EVOO
 - 1 tbsp honey
 - 1/2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
 - 1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan reggiano *optional
 - 1/4 tsp pink Himalayan salt
 
Directions
- Place a baking sheet on the bottom rack of the oven and preheat the oven to 450 degrees.
 - In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussel sprouts with 1/2 tbsp balsamic, EVOO, and salt. Remove the hot baking sheet from the oven and with tongs, place the Brussel sprouts cut-side down on the baking sheet. You will hear a slight sizzling, which is good, we want crisps edges!
 - Roast for 20-ish minutes until the edges are golden brown and crispy.
 - Remove baking sheet from oven and transfer Brussel sprouts to serving dish. Drizzle with honey, top with freshly grated parmesan, serve immediately.
