I was so excited to ask my bridesmaids and I wanted to make them feel special! So I decided to put together my own little gift box proposals to send them in the mail to make it official.

Since my California ladies are traveling to New Jersey for the wedding, I thought it would be nice to include a few travel items in their boxes. Here’s what I picked out:

• ‘You’re Pretty’ canvas tote
• ‘You’re Pretty’ matching ceramic travel mug
• Bride Squad pink sunglasses
• Travel size tissues
• Travel size oil blotting sheets
• Travel makeup bag

When it comes to bridesmaids proposals, it’s helpful to keep in mind these 3 things:

• Are they traveling for the wedding? If so, anything travel related (i.e. matching tote bag, travel sized items, makeup bag) is perfect! Especially if you are all flying out of the same airport, it makes for a great photo op of you with your girl gang and their matching bags.

• What do you think they could use? I loved the travel sized oil blotting paper and tissues because honestly, I think it’s useful to have these items on hand at any big event like a wedding. My bridesmaids are going to be taking a lot of pictures and the big day is set at the end of summer when it can be hot in Jersey. Hence, oil blotting papers so we don’t look shiny!

• Let the items show a little about you! If you know me, then you know I love the movie Mean Girls. I have watched it more times than I can count and it still gets me to this day! That being said, when I came across these “You’re like really pretty” canvas totes, which is an iconic line from Mean Girls, and knew they were perfect for my girl crew! The matching mugs topped it off, I couldn’t resist.

I love these girls so much and they have been there for me in the good times and bad. I can’t imagine life without them! When you have a bridal party like this, you really want to make sure they feel the love.
